NFT Horse Racing Explained

October 17, 2022 by Kyle Leave a Comment

Once upon a time, the Kentucky Derby would’ve been looked at as by far the most popular horse race on the planet. Now, not everyone may know what the Kentucky Derby is and many people are unaware of the spoils and wealth that exist within the horse racing world, but that might all be about to change.

Online NFT horse racing is something that is becoming more and more popular as the years go by, as cryptocurrencies and the metaverse start becoming part of our everyday lives. NFT horse racing is the latest craze in the tech and NFT world and the time to buy in is now, so keep reading on to learn about online horse betting.

Digital Horses Are Living, Breathing NFTs

NFTs, or non-fungible tokens, are still as popular as when they were first released, and yet still no one (not even experts) can give an accurate definition of exactly what they are. That’s because NFTs are so dynamic that they can truly be anything that the creator wants them to be. In this case, the horses that people are buying and betting on in online horse races are what the NFTs embody. People within these online horse racing circles describe these NFT horses as living, breathing tokens that need to be cared for and loved.

Each and every one of these NFT horses has its own unique code of DNA, just like in real life. Except these online horses actually do have a unique line of code that makes them ownable by just one buyer, who thus becomes the owner of the NFT horse. This concept is but one of the many amazing things that NFTs allow the technology and cryptocurrency world to do, and it completely changes how the future of all sports might be handled.

Whether or not we see this type of NFT code enter into other real-life sports like football, tennis, and cricket remains to be seen. But it is clear that the possibilities presented by this type of technology are endless for everything from horse races to a live casino online.

There Is Money To Be Made

To most people, who don’t study or are not experts in the world of cryptocurrency or NFTs, this whole concept might not make any sense, and it probably doesn’t seem like there are any benefits or upsides to investing in a digital horse. But that couldn’t be further from the truth. The money currently being spent in the NFT horse racing world far exceeds what people are paying for steeds in the real world.

One user recently purchased an entire stable of digital horses for just over $250 000, while another user spent $125 000 for a single horse. The site where much of these NFT horse trades occur is known as Zed Run, and the company is growing with each passing day.

The bottom line is that NFT and cryptocurrency technology are changing the world we live in right in front of us, and the time to adapt to these changes is now!

Non-Fungible Tokens in Sports and Music Industry in 2022

April 8, 2022 by Kyle Leave a Comment

During the recent couple of years, tech enthusiasts have discussed Non-Fungible Tokens for various reasons. First of all, since their introduction back in 2014, NFTs have become extremely popular worldwide as one of the most effective ways to purchase and sell digital artworks and other digital assets.

According to the magazine Forbes, an incredible $174 million has been spent on Non-Fungible Tokens since November 2017. Celebrities and brands are embracing the trend as they consider NFTs the best trend in connecting with their fans.

NBA Top Shot – The most exciting area for collecting NFTs

For example, the most exciting area for collecting NFTs at the moment is NBA Top Shot. It is a place where NBA fans from all over the world collect non-fungible tokens of their favourite stars in the form of digital cards. Keep in mind that some of these cards have already been sold for millions of dollars.

NBA Top Shot has settled itself as an easy-to-use and accessible path to cryptocurrency-powered commerce and Non-Fungible Token collecting. In early 2021, NBA fans were able to buy and sell officially licensed video highlights, or moments, from their favourite basketball players, such as Dapper Lab’s NBA Top Shot.

Thanks to Top Shot, Dapper Labs raised an incredible amount of $250 million in September at a valuation of $7.6 billion.

Music – an area where NFTs are massively used

Another area where NFTs are massively used and popular is music. For instance, a famous Canadian rapper Tory Lanez released an NFT album which became famous for one thing. Apparently, Tory Lanez NFT price is now $60.000, according to his statement on Instagram.

Besides Tory, numerous other famous musicians began monetizing their music. Here is another excellent example: Electronic music artist, worldwide known as 3LAU, has managed to tokenize a version of his music album “Ultraviolet”.

It became an NFT that was sold for approximately $11.6 million. Thus, this famous dance music duo disclosure sold a Non-Fungible Token of one song for more than $69.000.

NFTs in other fields

Keep in mind that, besides in the sports and music industry, NFTs today may represent in-game assets such as avatars, domain names, event tickets, digital and non-digital collectibles, and even some non-digital stuff such as real estate, for example.

Today you may find NFTs such as memes, GIFs, and even tweets. For example, the former CEO and Co-Founder Jack Dorsey have tokenized his first-ever tweet by writing, “just setting up my twttr”. According to Investopedia, don’t be surprised to learn that this particular tweet has been already auctioned off for approximately $2.5 million.

In another interesting example, the famous Co-Founder and former CEO Jack Dorsey tweeted a link to a tokenized version of his first-ever tweet that went like this “just setting up my twttr.” Believe it or not, that particular tweet has already been auctioned off for up to $2.5 million.

Conclusion

No matter what you may think of Non-Fungible Tokens, it’s clear that they are an entirely new way of monetizing digital artwork, which is helpful for various artists worldwide. If you think about whether investing in NFTs is a good idea, the short answer is definitely yes. By 2026, experts predict that the NFT market will reach $82/43 billion at a CAGR of 40.2%.

Importance of Hiring the Right Web Designer

December 24, 2021 by Kyle Leave a Comment

Web designers are vital to every company trying to build a name for itself online. Not only do they produce the interface your customers and leads will interact with, which can make someone decide whether or not to spend money with a company, but they also can help make things easier for you on the back-end.

These are some of the reasons why it’s important to be careful when hiring your web designer and how to find the right one for your company.

They Can Work Within Your Budget

Your company’s budget matters! Especially if your business is smaller, any change in the budget can be a huge leap from what else you can afford to do that month. Because of this, it’s important to find a web designer who can work within your budget.

Of course, you’ll have to be reasonable when you set your budget so that they can be paid a fair amount, but you should make it clear what you can afford so that they can be honest about what they can deliver for this amount.

Ensures They’ll Deliver the Site On Time

There’s no reason to hire a web developer if they don’t have clear recommendations. Talk to previous clients of theirs, see how their web design services turned out, and ask about a timeline to find out if the designer could stick to the timeline or if they ran behind.

If they’re able to cut you a large enough deal, it may be worth the wait: otherwise, it’s important to find a web designer who respects your time and completes the work when it’s due.

You Know Their Design Will Suit Your Company

Not every web designer can design sites that are good for every single company. Look at their samples and decide if their design tastes suit what you want for your website. If they don’t: it’s okay to be honest and keep looking.

Although some web designers are flexible on style, if none of their websites have what you’re looking for, you might have to fight an uphill battle to get what you want out of them, and it’s better to start with someone who has what you’re looking for.

They’ll Be Easy to Contact if Anything Goes Wrong.

Unfortunately, things can go wrong with websites. This doesn’t mean they purposefully messed up when building it, but it’s a good idea to look into what they offer for aftercare.

Does this web developer offer touch-up services? Are they easy to contact? Do you feel like they’re someone you can trust, or do their reviews say they kind of vanish after you’ve received your website? Again, it’s a good idea to find someone who will be easy to reach.

You Can Hire Them Again In The Future

If you find a good enough web designer: consider if you would want to hire them again when your website needs to be expanded or your company has grown a large amount.

Working with the same web designer will allow you to make a smooth transition for everyone, customers and employees alike.

The Definition of Advanced Analytics

September 28, 2021 by Kyle Leave a Comment

There’s an old adage that says “leap and the net will appear.” However, if you’ve ever jumped from a high location, you know that can be the most terrifying thing of all. It can be scary to take risks if you have no idea where you might land. In the same way, it can be terrifying and risky to make business decisions if you don’t know the potential outcome of your choices.

Just like everything in the modern world, businesses rely on technology and software to operate successfully. Whether you’re dealing with sales numbers or database information, you have a lot of big data coming through your system in real time. You want to see the correlations between different complex events and make smart choices and predictions for the future of your company. You need business intelligence and advanced data analytics to process your unstructured data in the best way. Let’s take a look at what exactly advanced analytics is and how these tools can help your company thrive with better software practices.

What is advanced analytics?

https://media2.giphy.com/media/Iy0Kg9oUBw9smEKWH8/giphy.mp4?cid=d180a6332odtjv5mxg4qt28raxev1xq13y4xb6p4edu76a3c&rid=giphy.mp4&ct=g

It’s important to start with the definition of advanced analytics. This is a data analysis technique that goes a step beyond traditional business intelligence. Rather than just understanding the behavior of your customers and their online trends, you can actually take raw data and make predictions on how your company will react to future endeavors. Essentially, basic analytics gives you a snapshot of your current operations while advanced analytics helps you make it better for the future. Using a variety of tools and techniques, advanced analytics helps you predict future trends, create better algorithms, and make smarter decisions for your business. Get actionable insights and make smarter business decisions with the help of these options.

How do companies benefit from this technique?

There are plenty of ways you and your company can benefit from advanced analytics techniques. For one, you’re getting way more value from your data. Rather than just collecting information, you’re actually using big data analytics to break down each complex event and statistical cluster. Beyond traditional analytics, the advanced analytics tools help you predict future events and potential outcomes so you can make smarter business decisions. This means you are taking fewer risks overall with your business. When you predict the future, you can analyze your decisions before they cost you. You’ll also be able to problem-solve in advance and stay on the offensive with better business decisions.

There are different techniques and tools involved in advanced analytics.

Advanced analytics is a broad term for a number of different business intelligence techniques that help your company. One of these is predictive analytics. By predicting the future, you can gain more actionable insights for where to take your company next. Go one step further with prescriptive analytics and actually see how things will play out with statistical simulations. Another piece of the advanced analytics puzzle is machine learning. You simply program your software with a specific algorithm, then deep learning takes over. Your program automation will allow the system to process data without human interference. These are all new opportunities to help your dashboards and visualizations stay updated as your data scientists take insights from that information to improve business performance.

Certain business operations benefit more from these insights.

While all businesses benefit from business intelligence, there are a few types of companies that benefit more from advanced analytics. If you work in supply chain management, marketing, the financial sector, or risk management, it can be extremely beneficial to get accurate predictions from past data points. These are top companies that need the technology advanced analytics can provide.

Salesforce NPSP Tips & Tricks – Better Manage Your Donor Data in Salesforce

May 6, 2021 by Kyle Leave a Comment

Understanding the basics of the Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack is essential to using this constituent relationship management software. Whether you use Salesforce NPSP as your primary CRM or pursue a Blackbaud Salesforce integration, here are a few tips to help a nonprofit achieve better donor data management in Salesforce.

Integrate Your Salesforce Data Using Omatic Cloud For a More Centralized View Of Your Data

If your organization uses Salesforce for Nonprofits alongside other third-party applications available through the AppExchange or other external platforms, you may benefit from the ability to access data in a centralized location. Although both of these platforms are cloud-based, a centralized database can bring together data from multiple sources, including applications integrated with or used separately alongside Salesforce.

While some applications are directly integrated with Salesforce, a cloud-based integration solution such as Omatic makes it possible to share data with platforms that have unsupported applied programming interfaces or lack APIs. This can be a great solution for managing cloud financials for nonprofit membership organizations. Whether you want centralized access to accounting, donation or constituent records, this platform increases the availability of information without compromising security.

Define the Data You Store In Your CRM

Taking time to clearly define information stored in a Salesforce NPSP database is a data management for nonprofits best practice. One of the benefits of using Salesforce is the capability to customize the methodologies used to keep track of accounts, contacts, campaigns, and opportunities on this platform. Data that is not clearly defined, and particularly records that originate in other systems, may not be turned up in queries or be available for use when needed.

Integration software can eliminate many obstacles to defining data. This platform makes it easier to indicate how data from one application should be processed and stored in Salesforce NPSP or any other CRM in use at an organization. Many types of data stored in contact records can benefit from definition, but definition is even more important for gift classifications.

Use the Batch Gift Entry Tool

The support for Batch Gift Entry added to Salesforce NPSP in 2019 can facilitate workflows for nonprofit staff. This tool is capable of making consistent form templates for processing gifts in batches of up to 10,000 entries. Under the Batches subtab, users can access options for gift entry, specify expected amounts for batch totals and even do a dry run for an entire batch.

Nonprofits can benefit from combining the features built into Salesforce for Nonprofits and optional packages for this platform with integration software. When it comes to importing and exporting data across platforms and ensuring that information is accessible in a centralized location, the right cloud-based integration platform can help nonprofit stakeholders get more out of Salesforce NPSP.

These three tips cover some of the most helpful methods for using Salesforce NPSP with Raiser’s Edge NXT or other Blackbaud software as well as a wide range of third-party applications. Using data integration software, defining data and finding solutions for entering donation information in batches contribute toward better donor data management practices.
