Grand Theft Auto V PC version was released back in 2015. More than 4 years have passed since then and the majority of players managed to clear the game, collect all of the achievements and started to look for new ways to play. While the GTA Online community is still very active, some of you might want to try some fresh experiences.
Having this in mind we’ve prepared a list of 5 awesome PC games that will keep you entertained. All of these games are somewhat similar to Grand Theft Auto V and can be bought on Eneba right now! Let’s begin:
1. Saints Row IV
For quite a while Saints Row IV was the biggest competitor of Grand Theft Auto V PC version. The game offers a similar sense of freedom, only a bit wackier. In a sense, Saints Row IV is GTA on hallucinogenic substances and steroids. In Saints Row IV you play as the President of the United States, trying to save the planet from the alien invasion. The game gives players a wide open world and numerous tools to go absolutely bonkers within it.
2. Just Cause 4
Similar to Saints Row IV, Just Cause 4 is also known as a game featuring unmatched freedom and over the top action. However, the main reason to check this game out is its release date. The game was released in 2018, so that’s 3 years worth of technical improvements compared to Grand Theft Auto V PC version. Additionally, Just Cause 4 was well received by critics who praised open-world gameplay, controls, graphics, and soundtrack.
3. Mafia III
Mafia III has many qualities that remind us of GTA. It’s an action-adventure game set in an open world environment and played from a third-person perspective. Its theme is also related to the criminal world where you control a protagonist involved in some shady mafia business. But we have to warn you – the story of Mafia III is way darker. Additionally, the game’s open world isn’t as populated as the one seen in Grand Theft Auto V PC version. However, Mafia III features a gorgeous presentation, an amazing soundtrack, and interesting characters, so it’s a worthy purchase if you can look past its shortcomings.
4. Sleeping Dogs
Before there was Grand Theft Auto V, PC gamers had a chance to play through a game Square Enix released back in 2012. Sleeping Dogs looks like GTA, plays like GTA, but it’s not GTA. In fact, it came out even before GTA V’s debut on consoles. The game features tons of weapons, cars, fighting action, untamed freedom, and an open-world where these elements can shine in bright colors. And there’s a lot to do in the game – in addition to the core game, Sleeping Dogs was re-released in 2014 featuring 24 DLC packs and improved graphics.
5. L.A. Noire
The last game on our Grand Theft Auto V Pc alternatives list comes from… (drumroll)… Rockstar Games! L. A. Noire was released back in 2011 and to this date is considered as a prime example of noir style detectives. It is a violent crime thriller that blends breathtaking action with true detective work. It’s also played from a third-person perspective and has an option which allows players to freely roam the game’s world. While L.A. Noire is way older and has a lot less stuff to do in the game, it’s still a great alternative, if you’re looking for crime-related narrative of a quality only Rockstar Games can produce.
